Ms.  Gomez joined Steven Krieger Law in 2026 as an associate attorney.  Ms. Gomez is a seasoned, client-centered advocate with over twenty years of experience representing clients in varied high-stakes, complex litigation.   

Ms. Gomez began her legal career serving for two years as a law clerk in the Family Court of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.  She then spent two years working as staff attorney at Ayuda followed by eight years serving as a staff and senior staff attorney at the Legal Aid Society of the District of Columbia.  In these roles Ms. Gomez represented or advised over a thousand clients from vulnerable populations in domestic violence and custody matters, including cases involving child abuse, sexual abuse, expert witnesses, and guardians ad litem.

Ms. Gomez has also practiced employment law in state and federal courts when she helped client obtain favorable resolutions in discrimination and retaliation matters and represented approximately a hundred immigration clients in sensitive and extensive asylum and removal defense proceedings, regularly appearing in multiple trials per week.

Ms. Gomez graduated with honors from Florida State University, earning a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law in 2007.  Ms. Gomez is fluent in Spanish and French. 

In her spare time, Ms. Gomez enjoys lifting weights in the gym, spinning, step aerobics, cooking, and spending time with her daughter at the library or bookstore.
