Mr. Krieger has ten years of public interest advocacy and experience. His passion is helping people gain access to legal remedies, and in serving traditionally underserved or marginalized populations.
Mr. Krieger earned his Juris Doctor from the UCLA School of Law, David J. Epstein Program in Public Interest Law and Policy. Prior to law school, Mr. Krieger earned a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Michigan School of Business.

Ms. Nguyen is experienced working in family law, contracts, and civil litigation and arbitration both domestically and internationally. She obtained her Juris Doctor from the Georgetown University Law Center and her Bachelor of Arts from Christopher Newport University.
Ms. Nguyen is licensed to practice law in Virginia and the District of Columbia.
Mr. Granoski has been practicing law since 1991. He has represented clients and appeared in state and Federal courts in Virginia and Washington, D.C.
James is an experienced litigator and transactional attorney, with a broad-based background of legal work, which includes Civil, Criminal and Commercial Litigation, Commercial Contracts, Mergers and Acquisitions of Small Businesses, Real Estate, Estate Planning and Probate, and Landlord/Tenant representation. Obtaining favorable results for clients is what Mr. Granoski’s values the most.
Adele Garmirian is Of Counsel to the firm and has been practicing law in Virginia since 2010. Her professional background includes experience in estate planning and small business law, as well as extensive experience in family law and litigation. Adele strives to be a thoughtful and compassionate advocate for her clients, and to minimize their stress through a process that can often be difficult or overwhelming.
Adele is a member of the Virginia State Bar, and has been named to the Virginia Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list for 2015–2020. Adele earned her Juris Doctor from the George Mason University School of Law, and her Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Virginia Tech.
Yi Shen earned his J.D. from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law, in Washington, D.C. in 2017 where he was a member of law review, moot court, the Low Income Taxpayers Clinic, and also served as a research assistant to Marshall Brieger on free speech issues.
Yi focuses on civil/commercial litigation and family law.
Yi was born in Taipei, Taiwan, raised in Richmond, Virginia, and has lived in the DC/Maryland/Virginia area for the past ten years. When Yi is away from the office, he enjoys basketball (both playing and spectating), playing with his two dogs (Stella and Malibu), and making chili.
Ms. Thode began her work with Steven Krieger Law in 2014, as the Executive Assistant to Steven Krieger. She has an associate’s degree equivalent from Algeria and has over 16 years of experience in the legal field. Additionally, she has extensive international experience, having worked in consular services for U.S. embassies overseas. She also received professional training in consular processing at the U.S. State Department’s Foreign Service Institute.
Ms. Thode grew up in Algeria and studied fashion design at the institute there before coming to the United States. She speaks English, French, Spanish and Arabic. In her free time, Ms. Thode enjoys reading and painting.
Mrs. Patino graduated George Mason University in 2017 with a Bachelor’s in Criminology, Law, and Society and a Minor in Philosophy and Law. Starting her career in the legal field as an intern at the age of 15, Mrs. Patino has developed a passion for helping people get the legal services they need.
In her spare time, Mrs. Patino loves watching movies, spending time with her husband and family, and playing with her Golden Retriever Nala.
Ms. O’Leary is the firm’s senior litigation paralegal with over 18 years experience in various areas of litigation including civil, personal injury, corporate, medical malpractice, health law and transactional matters. Ms. O’Leary has extensive experience in both federal and state courts and participated in several trials, arbitrations and hearings before various state professional licensing boards.
Ms. O’Leary received both BA and BS degrees in Political Science and Economics from the University of New Hampshire cum laude, with a minor in Biology, and graduated from Georgetown University’s Paralegal Program, with distinction. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, Bikram yoga and volunteers with the American Red Cross.
Ms. Moss began her time with Steven Krieger Law in 2019. She brings a decade of customer service experience to the firm. Often the first point of contact, providing compassionate and empathetic support to clients is where her focus lies.
In her spare time, Ms. Moss enjoys cooking, crafting and spending time outdoors with her dogs.
