Tyler Roth

Tyler is an accomplished attorney with nearly a decade of experience representing individuals, businesses, and nonprofit organizations across Virginia. His practice includes civil litigation, business and corporate law, criminal defense, landlord-tenant, and consumer protection disputes. His practice centers on providing honest advice, practical solutions, and responsive representation through a client-focused approach tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.

Throughout his career, he has successfully handled matters in both state and federal courts, developed extensive trial and negotiation experience, and advised clients on a wide range of legal and business issues. He is admitted to practice in Virginia, the District of Columbia, and before the Eastern and Western Districts of Virginia Federal Courts.

In addition to his private practice work, Tyler is deeply committed to public service. Before entering private practice, he served for several years as an Assistant Public Defender, where he sharpened his trial advocacy skills by successfully litigating 50–75 bench trials and multiple jury trials while representing clients in a wide range of felony and misdemeanor matters. He continues to serve as a volunteer pro bono attorney providing legal assistance to underserved members of the Northern Virginia community and as pro bono general counsel for an animal rescue organization, where he advises on contracts, governance, and organizational matters.

Tyler earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts in History from Marymount University, where he pitched and played outfield for the school’s baseball team.

Outside of work, Tyler is a die-hard fan of Washington, D.C. professional sports teams. In his free time, he enjoys reading, exercising, traveling with his partner, Melissa, and exploring with their dog, Rosie.
